Details: When people are out partying with their friends, midnight approaches and they must decide if they should continue their party or call it a night.  One of the key principles of economics is marginal thinking, which requires decision-makers to evaluate whether the benefit of one more unit of something is greater than its cost.  In other words, does the marginal benefit exceed the marginal cost?  As one might expect, the utility from staying out a few more hours will greatly exceed the cost, especially since "…layin' down would be in vain, I can't sleep with you on my brain.  And I ain't anywhere close to tired, Your kiss has got me wired".  Even as the night approaches 2:22, the choice is still clear "We don't have to go home, we can leave the night on".
